'Clueless' Star Alicia Silverstone Totally Cringes While Watching Her First Interview on 'Today' at 18 originally appeared on Parade.
Actor Alicia Silverstone, best known for her iconic role in Clueless, just got a blast from the past. In a recent interview on the Today Show, Silverstone was shown a clip of her first interview with the show from when she was 18. She cringed the whole way through.
"It just feels funny," a young Silverstone says in the clip. "You know, I'm 18 and I love acting. That's all I know, is acting. But doing things like this and having to be who I am, that's hard. Like when people are watching. Don't want anybody to watch."
Silverstone is talking about having to do press and interviews, which is very different than playing a part in a movie.
Though the actor cringed the whole way through watching her 18-year-old self in the old interview, she responded to the clip by saying, "Same."
