Jenn Tran might have made history as the first Asian-American lead within the Bachelor franchise, but believe it or not, the 27-year-old wishes that something else was her "claim to fame."
Although she is a popular reality television personality as we speak — participating in The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars thus far — Tran admitted in a recent TikTok video that she wishes she gained notoriety via a different career path.
Instead of pursuing a career in reality television, she wishes she pursued a career in music, admitting that "In another life, [she] would be a singer."

In a TikTok video shared yesterday (August 19), Tran admitted that "all [she] ever wanted to be when [she] was a kid as a pop star."
The New Jersey native continued, "I sang and danced to my room all day long, and I used to pretend to write songs on the piano about my 12-year-old crushes and how they didn't like me back."
Then, she poked fun at her less-than-ideal Bachelorette journey, where she got engaged to Devin Strader, but ended up single just months later. Poor Jenn!
She continued, "I thought that one day I'd grow up and they'd be bangers, but no. Instead, I just went on reality TV and embarrassed myself and proposed to a boy who didn't actually wanna get engaged to me... Instead, I could have been a pop singer."
In the comment section, several fans suggested Tran try The Masked Singer for her next reality television endeavor, and we could not agree more!
Others touched on some of the self-deprecating things she said in the TikTok video, sharing their support for the PA student turned Bachelorette.
"You did not embarrass yourself. You showed us how to handle yourself with class and thrive in life. You are living your best life," one wrote, while another added, "He embarrassed himself by doing you so dirty. The way you handled that reunion was boss level 🏆"
