Dianna Agron recently reminisced about her late Glee costar Cory Monteith, who she called a "big brotherly presence" on set.
Agron reunited with her castmates Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz on their recap podcast And That's What You REALLY Missed.
McHale asked the Shiva Baby star what it was like to work with Monteith, who died in 2013, so closely during the beginning of the show. She shared that he was like a "teddy bear" that embraced his "leadership position" onscreen and off.
"There was not an ungenerous bone in his body," Agron said.
The Burlesque actress shared a story about a time Monteith gifted her brother some sunglasses. After noticing her sibling was squinting during a pool party, the actor invited him to pick a pair from his collection to keep.
Agron said that she can't recall many details about shooting specific scenes on the show. However, she remembers all of her memories with her castmates.
"It's hard to think of our loved ones from the show not being with us anymore because they feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul, all of it," she said. "And I think that the tenderness that I feel and the memories that I have, and who, you know, both Cory and Naya [Rivera] and Mark [Salling] were as people, as cast members, as our friends and family, that's just so vivid and that will never dissipate for me ever."

McHale and Ushkowitz previously opened up about the joys and difficulties rewatching the series after their costars' deaths.
"It really is a gift that we get to watch this, and we got so many moments of how great they are as people shine through in their performances as characters," McHale said on the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast.
