In a recent episode of the NowThis series Are You Okay?, Joe Jonas confessed to joining the Mile High Club.

While he labeled the experience worth it, he admitted to an embarrassing moment right after.

The moment involved him high-fiving a flight attendant right after the deed happened—when Jonas thought he was high-fiving his drummer.

Joe Jonas gave us a two-for-one confession: not only did he join the Mile High Club, but he had an embarrassing moment right after.

Speaking on the NowThis series Are You Okay?, Jonas admitted that he once did the deed in an airplane bathroom, and immediately walked into an awkward moment right after.

“I joined the Mile High Club a couple years ago,” he said (via People). “I was wearing contacts, left the bathroom. I thought I was high-fiving my drummer—it was the flight attendant.”

Though Jonas said the experience was worth it, he added, “It was a private flight, or I would be banned from flying.”

That wasn’t the only embarrassing experience Jonas copped to on the show. This next one involves his brother Nick Jonas, who, like Jonas and their brother Kevin Jonas, make up the Jonas Brothers. Speaking of a moment that Jonas said “happens quite often,” he said, “Somebody will be like, ‘Can I take a picture with you?’ and then they’ll hand me the camera, and they want to take a picture with Nick.”

The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour supporting their JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, where they’ve brought out surprise guests like Hanson, Jesse McCartney, and Demi Lovato.

Speaking to People ahead of the tour, Jonas said the band “wanted to bring a show for the audience that they felt like was something different from what they’ve experienced before.”

Elsewhere in the Are You Okay? episode, Jonas was asked about something the public might not know about him, to which he responded, “I have 67 stitches between my eyebrows.”

“We were on the Hannah Montana tour,” he explained. “We were filming. Part of the video was me running through a wall and being like, ‘Guys, I can run through walls. You gotta come see this.’”

“I tripped on a shoelace and cut my face open,” he added. “Got rushed to the hospital. I had surgery ‘til, like, three in the morning.”

The upside, though? “Now I don’t have a unibrow anymore, which is nice,” he said.
