Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a serious car accident over this past weekend on Sunday, August 17, in Rumson, New Jersey, that sent two people to the hospital.
Five family members were traveling northbound when the vehicle suddenly veered into the oncoming traffic lane and smashed into two different utility poles, according to TMZ and confirmed by the New York Post.
Police told TMZ that two of the five people in Walsh's car were taken to a medical center. There is no word yet as to who was injured or who was driving.

A rep for the actor released a statement to both outlets, saying, "Over the weekend, Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident in Rumson. Thankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home. The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care. They would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff of The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath."
Walsh, 61, has five children — two from his first marriage to Melora Walters, Thomas, 29, and Joanna, 27; a daughter Stella, 21, from his marriage to Joanna Going, and a daughter Amelie, 13, and son Hudson, 12, from his current marriage to Leslie Bourque.
This comes just a month after Julian McMahon, Walsh's Nip/Tuck co-star, died suddenly after a private battle with cancer at the age of 56. Walsh, McMahon and actress Joely Richardson starred on the Ryan Murphy FX drama for six seasons from 2003 to 2010.
