The Bachelorette alum Jillian Harris' dream just came true.
Harris may have accepted the proposal of contestant Ed Swiderski at the end of season 5 of the popular reality dating series, but she found true love with former professional snowboarder Justin Pasutto.
Sharing photos and details of her "romantic, elegant, traditional" wedding to Pasutto over the weekend with PEOPLE, Harris noted, "After eight years of planning, we've decided to really go for it!" The former reality star described the large ceremony at their farm in West Kelowna, British Columbia, as "an actual fairy-tale dream come true. I'm so happy that we waited this long so that we could truly plan the day that we've always dreamed of."
"Justin has worked tirelessly over the past two years to repair the property, replanting trees, moving dirt, planting grass, irrigating and managing the team," Harris shared. "He has devoted the last year of his life to making my wedding venue dreams come true."
Harris closed out the 2009 of The Bachelorette by becoming engaged to Swiderski, a technology consultant who parlayed his time on the series into subsequent appearances on series like The Ellen Degeneres Show and Entertainment Tonight. But the couple broke off their engagement the year after, and Harris experienced "love at first sight" with Pasutto in 2012, when they met by chance outside a bar in Kelowna.
The couple were engaged in 2016, but Harris said the the COVID-19 pandemic and fires that broke out through the Kelowna region in 2023 forced them to delay their plans for a wedding.
Harris and Pasutto were officially married in an intimate ceremony in a church on Friday, but hosted a "dreamy and romantic" wedding two days later on their farm with 176 guests in attendance. The couple share two children, 9-year-old son Leo and 6-year-old daughter Annie.

Harris' season of The Bachelorette made history when Swiderski became the show's first-ever winner who previously quit the show.
Swiderski left the show after its fifth episode, citing his commitment to his job. But he returned for the rose ceremony following episode 7's hometown dates, and eventually won the season, proposing to Harris on the finale.
